grandparents taught me that I had the ability to

One more couple I need to mention is my Cosmetology
adopted grandparents, Tim and Mrs. Wyatt.
Growing up, my family moved around Haircuts, color,

brother, Tim and Mrs. Wyatt let my brother and
me stay with them. Although these two people
are not related to me by blood, I have always
thought of them as family. They showed me
what true kindness is. Even though my family
no longer lives in Childress, Mrs. Wyatt always my life. Without these grandparents, I would not have

with today. I am so grateful for what they have taught
All three of these couples have had a me, and I am so blessed to be able to call them my

Kaitlyn Tucker CANYON HIGH SCHOOL
Kaitlyn will graduate from Canyon High School with honors. She plans to pursue
a career in the medical field at the University of Arkansas. She cheered all four
years of high school, held a leadership role in the Honor Choir, was a member of
the Student Council, served as President of the Health Student Association, was a
member of National Honor Society, was a Superintendent Scholar all four years,
served as Secretary of her senior class, and served on a few more student committees.
She enjoys volunteering with organizations such as local food pantries, Special
Olympics, and the local Leo Club. She has worked as a marketing assistant and event
promoter for the local pro sports teams, Amarillo Venom and Amarillo Bombers.
She is currently working as an intern at the IVRS Wellness Center.
