Breakfast
The Texas Panhandle War Memorial, Market Street, and Interim Hospice helped Senior Link honor
15 area veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf and more. After a delicious breakfast
provided by Market Street, a moving speech by retired Army Colonel Kenneth Teel and a video from
U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson commended the veterans and inspired the other guests that the sacrifices
made by our men and women in uniform are never to be forgotten. Challenge coins were provided
by Senior Link and Interim to commemorate the event. Tears, smiles, fist bumps, and even hugs
punctuated the annual gathering.
