not even know about. We are providers for many of
these insurance companies and are able to offer you
their benefits for hearing aids at no cost or with a
special discount buying plan. We will go over your
plan and make the necessary phone calls to see what
might be available for you. It works a bit differently
than a normal claim on your insurance. Insurance
companies employ hearing aid buying groups (who
know how to negotiate pricing), and they ask us to
sign up as a provider (because we know the product
and how to fit and dispense hearing aids). Some
offer a home delivery option, but that is not the best
alternative, because then you must discern whether
the hearing aid devices fit properly and are adjusted
for your unique loss, and then manage all your own
          maintenance.

We are willing to meet with you and investigate your
personal supplement/insurance and how the hearing
aid benefits work in your favor. We have had many
calls for appointments, with clients thinking they
would get hearing aids for $0, and, in fact, they would
have a co-pay that they had not anticipated. Each plan
is unique and has its own policy. We are currently
working with: Amerigroup, United Healthcare, Aetna,
Humana, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and All Well. We
also work with the Texas Work Force Commission for
those who are still working and have a hearing loss.

If the discussion about finding out more information
about hearing loss in a family member comes up,
it is ALWAYS better for the person to have a family
member accompany them to a hearing screening. This
