Honoring Our History

As you know, Senior Link’s mission is to tell the stories of local seniors for the
purpose of honoring them and inspiring younger generations. However, our
next issue, Summer 2021, will be featuring the stories of communities. We want
to tell the history of the towns in the Panhandle. If you know of someone who
would like to write the history of your community for our next issue, please
contact us. Articles need to be 850 to 1000 words and include pictures.

Our Fall issue is always dedicated to local Veterans. It’s not too early to get
started, so if you know of a veteran whose story needs to be told, please
contact us. Not many WWII or Korean War veterans are still with us. We don’t
want to overlook a single one of the Greatest Generation. Many more Cold
War and Vietnam veterans need to tell their stories. We welcome you to write,
to have a family member write, or to allow us to interview you.
